Cellulite can happen in slim people as well as the overweight.  Have you ever noticed how slim people can still have cellulite?  That’s because it is a skin condition rather than a fat problem.

Losing weight won’t necessarily eliminate cellulite although it certainly helps and is an added bonus but if you are still eating junk, guess what you get to maintain the dimply skin.

Let’s get started on simple ways to re-gain smooth skin.

So the first step is to develop healthy nutrition.  You will lose weight and you will also eliminate cellulite at the same time.  More bang for your buck!

Ok the number one rule is to avoid all junk foods, full stop!  Nothing junkie will pass these lips forever more.

Say NO to pizza, fried or fast foods, no candy, chips, fries, hamburgers, cookies, ice cream, pastries, cakes, sodas diet or otherwise, sugar, white processed foods, coffee and alcohol.

These are obvious foods, but not so obvious and a little sneaky are: high fat red meats, hot dogs, sausage, bacon, cold cuts etc., fried poultry and fish, whole fat milk, full fat milk yogurt, dried fruits with added sugar, fried veggies, and refined grains: crackers and baked goods made from white and refined flour, corn chips and potato chips, butter and lard, mayonnaise, most cheeses and bottled salad dressing containing sugar and artificial ingredients.

So if you stick to foods that are whole and natural in every way you can’t go wrong.  So that means salads, veggies, fruits and lean meats.  Wholegrain bread and wholegrain pasta.  You can also eat beans, lentils, nonfat milk, eggs, sugar substitutes (stevia), oatmeal, brown rice, nuts; almonds are very good for vitamin E and flaxseed oil.  Changing your diet will do wonders for your skin, weight and mental state.

Exercise 

Get your circulation moving big time!  Stir up the lymphatic system.  Rebounding is excellent for the lymphatic system, bouncing on a mini trampoline, also Pilates on the reformer using the jump-board or spring-board and yoga.

Skin brushing is another good tool for circulation and your lymphatic system.  You need a good natural bristle brush with a long handle and brush in long strokes all over the body towards the heart.  The sloughing off of dead skin makes your skin feel all tingly and then shower.  Feels wonderful!

Remember, nutrition is your number one arsenal to combat cellulite.  So again to re-iterate, no junk food. No fries, greasy food, cut the carbs like white things, white bread, white sugar and white flour and no soda at all.
