It may seem controversial to intermittently fast but Brad has a solution that will make it very easy to end the struggle with weight gain. You have to know how to work this program and the results are remarkable.

There are no rules to follow as far as what to eat as long as you eat in a reasonably healthy manner when you’re not fasting. The body does need nutrient dense foods so there is no excuse to eat junk food! It’s very simple and Brad can help you with all the detail.

I have used this method on and off for years without realizing I was actually doing eat stop eat. It gives the body a rest and a chance to regenerate and definitely gets rid of the extra fat.

There are so many diets and gimmicky fads on the market you want to make sure you select the right one for you that will bring success without too much struggle and frustration.
So what does Stop Eat Stop entail?

Basically in the program you add a couple of days of fasting spread throughout your week. The fasting period is 24 hrs but you can split it into 2 fasting periods.

Brad Pilon the creator and author recommends fasting from 6pm one evening until 6pm the following evening.

It’s entirely up to you when you chose your fasting times. You could choose 8am to 8am but you may not be happy going to bed hungry! Personally I prefer the 6pm to 6pm, at least you can have dinner on both evenings.

Your diet is full of natural healthy foods such as lean red meat, lean chicken, fish, eggs and low fat dairy products. You get to add plenty of fresh fruits and veggies and some complex carbs such as brown rice, oats, quinoa (gluten free) and sweet potatoes.

You also need to add fat to your diet to satiate hunger. Fat is a necessary and proven component for healthy joints, hair, skin and nails and brain function. Do not be afraid of fat! You will not gain weight with the correct fats such as salmon, flaxseed oil, coconut oil, avocado, nut butters and nuts.

Brad Pilon really believes that the starvation mode theory is nothing but a myth and fear mongering. The theory is that when you go into starvation mode your metabolism slows right down and stops burning fat. The theory reason’s if you’re not eating enough food then your body automatically stores fat because it thinks you’re in a famine and doesn’t know when you’re going to be eating next. You may have heard this theory before, I certainly have but have never believed it.

Pilon has done extensive research into this area and has actually found the opposite as long as you do some form of resistance training which he covers extensively in the program Eat Stop Eat.

Brad is a nutrition professional and specializes in clinical research management. He has completed graduate studies in nutritional sciences specializing in the use of short term fasting for weight loss.
